Move the needle! How you can help NetBeans and help yourself

You can help NetBeans be successful - which means more people will contribute more ideas, more modules, more bug reports and fixes...which means you get a better IDE and a better platform! NetBeans is an open source project - if you don't promote it, who will? And it's quick and easy to do.

You can move the needle. Below are graphics you can use to link to NetBeans from your web site. But there's more - you can actually see what effect you're having. That's why we call this project Move the Needle. Sign up below and fill in the URLs that you will add links to, and your name (or a nickname if you want).

Each week, the results will be tallied up - we'll process the web logs for the entire site and list your name (or nickname) and how many times the referring page was yours, so you can see exactly how much effect you had! There will also be a tally of how many referring pages came from community sites, as a whole. Making this number bigger is what we call moving the needle
