After unsuccessfully refactoring my projects ([Issue 117941) and doing refactoring by other means (NB551), the project,
source packages and package icons are displayed with the red exclamation mark, which I interpret as if the project is
somehow incorrect. But my projects (simple ones) seem to be correct, none of the source java file icons is flagged with
the error mark and the project builds with no incident.

If there is an error in the project I should be able to know the details.

But maybe this is new functionality I am not aware of.
