Description brutzman 2008-06-14 18:51:43 UTC
using developer collaboration to share files works properly for default file types (.html etc.) but does not work for
added file types (for example, .x3d).

symptom: dragging .x3d file into "share a file" area does share it with remote users, but does not distribute updates
or perform line locking when edited.

tested using X3D-Edit plugin, am happy to help test this problem on share.java.net

wondering why there is a new developer collaboration module available, but this bug in core functionality is still NEW
and unaddressed after eight months?
Comment 2 Antonin Nebuzelsky 2009-06-02 14:53:39 UTC
Reassigning to issues@collab. Collab Support plugin is not actively maintained.

Obsoleted in 6.7 by the newly introduced integration with Project Kenai, a
collaborative environment for developers to host their open-source projects,
which includes also a chat service.
