hi,
1: I have netbeans IDE 6.0.1 . i want to upgrade.
is there a better way to upgrade than downloading a fresh one.
2: The performance of the IDE compared to version 5.5 is very less.

This issue has been without any activity for a long time, closing as INVALID. At the moment it is only possible to get
patches from updatecenter (e.g. 6.7 -> 6.7.1), but not entire releases. It is however possible to migrate settings to a
newer version of netbeans. A new version still needs to be manualy installed.
