I have discussed this issue with Jano. We agreed that there will be a temporary solution until the editor options will not be done correctly. Depends on issue 137318. May not be done for NetBeans 6.5. In that case we will need to update the perm UI spec. Yesterday I have updated icon and position of the PHP category. I added it to the spec: http://wiki.netbeans.org/OptionsDialog Note that if you don't add a new tab into PHP category for 6.5, then I suggest to move the Hints tab into the Editor category and move the General Options tab into the Miscellaneous category as a PHP tab. Now there is only one tab. Theoretically we will need to introduce one more tab for switching on/off php runtime libraries. We are not still sure, how this will influence the performance. Jano, it seems a little strange, when you have php ide and setting of the php is in Miscellaneous category. Assigning to Tomasz, who did the previous change. So should I start the UI review process or move the options back to 'miscelanous'? Jano, added the PHP to the UI spec. It is separate category now. Therefore it is ok now. |
