I can confirm the same behaviour running NetBeans 6.5 RC1 on LinuxMint Elyssa (an Ubuntu 8.04 derivative). Here is my Help/About info: Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.5 RC1 (Build 200810171318) Java: 1.6.0_10-rc2; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b15 System: Linux version 2.6.24-16-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_GB (nb) Tentative diagnosis: It looks like a window resizing loop. A window calculation is made which causes scrollbars to be added, which triggers some resize event which itself triggers a size calculation, as a result of which the scrollbars are removed. And round it goes again. If I drag the splitter between the JBI Modules and the External Modules almost all the way to the right, I can stop this behaviour. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 138971 *** |
