Some details: Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.5 (Build 200811100001) Java: 1.6.0_11; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b16 System: Linux version 2.6.26.3 running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb) (Also with netbeans 6.1 and java6.10) On Portable PC - an HP Compaq nx7400 with video (from lspci): VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) Searched for similar problems for both netbeans and jdk but could not find anything. Any help/ideas is appreciated. this is probably duplicate of issue 149260, try changing xorg.conf as it is suggested in the comment *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 149260 *** Yes, that did it.
