I am user of the Kubuntu 8.10 amd64 version.

I wanted to install 6.7rc1 version, but unfortunately installer fonts are incredible small - to small to use it:

Looks similar to Issue 143303 but with different effect : small vs. big.

bluszcz, could you please give more info about your system?

Do you use KDE or GNOME (or other) as your main desktop manager ? Which version?
Have you used another (not main) one before?
What is the desktop resolution?
Do you have custom font settings?
Which desktop theme do you use?
Do you use Compiz/Beryl/similar stuff?

My configuration as follows:

* Ubuntu 8.10, KDE 4:4.2.2
* I used netbeans only the other computer
* I am using mainly fonts from msttcorefonts - Verdana
* I cannot check the DPI settings now - no access to that computer at this moment
* Default desktop theme
* No Compiz/Beryl/any visual eye candy accellelator ;)
