Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201005181742)
Operating System = Mac OS X version 10.5.8 running on x86_64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_17
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 14.3-b01-101

In the bottom-left corner of chat window there is the widget for adding links to files and issues to the chat conversation. 
When I go with mouse over this widget then there appears blue vertical line in the middle of the widget - see attached screenshot...
