Ran into a installation issue with NetBeans 8.2 standalone installer. It Hangs on running scripts... I figured it might be related to https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=253106 though when I left for dinner and came back over an hour, it still sits idling. Unlike the other post, I'd say it cannot be the internet connection since I'm around 140 MB down.

Here is the fun part, the combo installation of JDK and Netbeans does install. However, the IDE included in this bundle will open a file and quickly close it. My guess, it is crashing without reporting an error message; Again that is just an assumption.
