This is an umbrella issue for the set of measured regressions on 
GTK L&F.  See Show Dependency Tree to identify the real issues; 
please make any new GTK-specific performance issues block 
this issue.

Performance problem is in JDK (see other GTK issues for bug IDs);  GTK L&F not supported 
for promo D.

Per agreement, if there are performance problems relating to *our* code as opposed to 
JDK code, this issue may be reopened for JDK 1.5.1.
