Status for D? Not for D. Do we want to implement this (current NB version is 6.8)? Currently, there is a combobox in the first step of the wizard that allows you to choose the project. Does it mean that title should dynamically change? If this RFE is not planned (if we don't want to do this), please close the issue as WONTFIX. IMO still applicable. On the first page (if the wizard is invoked from main menu or main toolbar), there is a combo with project choice - this needs to remain there. On the second page (if wizard invoked from main menu or toolbar - first page if invoked from project contextual menu) this information is again, but this time not possible to change. Here it's useless and I guess the enhancement was about moving this second instance (first if invoked from contextual menu) to the titlebar. jrojcek no longer works on netbeans, reassigning to component owner. IMO this is a RFE, so the question is not if it is applicable but if we intend to do it, because this is no big change from my point of view. Currently, the project name is displayed in the textfield in the second panel of the wizard. Do we want to move it to the title? Will it gain better visibility? What will it require from module owners (will CND/Ruby have to redo their dialogs not to contain the textfield?). > Will it gain better visibility? No, it will gain worse visibility :-). But given that the action has either been invoked on a certain project or the project has been chosen in the previous step, it's reasonable. > What will it require from module owners > (will CND/Ruby have to redo their dialogs not to contain the textfield?). I'm sorry, don't know the answer. Although a slight UI improvement, probably not worth the trouble - we have more important things to focus on. Closing as WONTFIX. |
