Description Rochelle Raccah 2005-03-22 21:00:14 UTC
In the customizer, I believe the Name field at the top level should be populated
from ejb jar display name, but it is not. Now that issue 55733 is fixed, this
should be more visible.

This is a trivial change. One question though

1. Should the name field be populated from ejb-jar.xml/display-name always, or
only when the existing sun-ejb-jar.xml/name is blank?

2. If the name field is always populated (ie overwrites existing name), should
the editor show the field as read-only?

I'd ask HIE's opinion on those.
Comment 3 _ pcw 2007-08-27 20:11:53 UTC
and the JavaEE question becomes "what to populate this with when ejb-jar.xml does not exist but sun-ejb-jar.xml does?"
Comment 4 Vince Kraemer 2007-12-08 02:46:43 UTC
isn't this a dup of 55201?
