Comment 2 Andrei Badea 2006-06-19 14:03:37 UTC
Will also need to implement support for Java Persistence API. Probably in the
Java nature.

Also needs to encompass 'Web Application with Existing Ant Script' - that
currently does not work either.

Comment 10 Andrei Badea 2006-07-27 12:35:52 UTC
Given the number of duplicates this issue will track the support of Java
Persistence API in the freeform project, so changing the summary accordingly.
Comment 11 Milan Kubec 2006-08-16 11:05:51 UTC
Adding the support for Persistence API requires changes in current APIs and
changes in current UI, mainly in wizards. Probably changes in project schema as
well, depending on how complex the support we want.

Number of duplicates in this issue is caused by the fact that some actions
related to Persistence API were allowed in freeform project without actual
support for it. It resulted to various exceptions being thrown. This is not the
case now since those actions were disabled for EJB freeform project.
Comment 12 Milan Kubec 2006-08-18 10:42:09 UTC
Since there were no objections I consider the issue as approved.
Comment 13 Andrei Badea 2007-07-04 09:58:54 UTC
The EJB freeform project has been dropped from NetBeans 6.0.
