Description bugbridge 2006-06-19 19:31:40 UTC
Original status: 1-Dispatched; Suggested Status: NEW

Original submitter: sergeyp

Description:
reproducible with 050606_20:

steps to reproduce:
1. create class diagram
2. add design pattern
3. add class role to the diagram and bind with the pattern
there is no 'Multiplicity' property for the role

Evaluation:
Copied from comments.

I Role Binding is used to represent the participation of a model element in the
design pattern. What does it mean to have multiplicity in this case? In bow
you could add the multiplicity but it did not have any effect.

Hi Trey,
See bug for usage of multiplicity 6194546.

Changing the bug id in the statement "See bug for usage of multiplicity 6194546"
to 78356

This issue may block another issue, it should be checked after fix:
"- Create Class diagram.
- Create Design pattern element.
- Create class role.
- Bind it to pattern.
- Set multiplicity for this binding ( 0..* ).
- Promote pattern to project in Design center.

After promoting multiplicity is lost in pattern which in Design Center.
I you apply this pattern from project in design center , then you will
unable to create more participants for class"

on the mac book pro these steps caused a Segmentation Fault.

It was decided in bug council meeting to turn it to RFE. The current release does not support role multiplicity.
