This is a great requirement to think about for future implementations. There are a number of "GET" type functions that might be useful in other contexts. I'm changing this to an enhancement request. Sorry, I must disagree. When I look at it as an user, this is a defect: there is not way to copy the link of a plugin page and paste it into an IM window or a blog post. I agree with Andrei. Due to this bug I am unable to use multiple tabs in my Mozilla browser. I am used to using middle mouse click to open links in additional tabs that load on background and then look at the content when the page is loaded. This does not work and I can only use left mouse click to see module details page. Steps to reproduce: =================== 1. Type "Refactoring" into search field and push "Search" button. 2. Several plugins are found. 3. Use middle mouse button to click on "Read More..." link. 4. Additional tab shows up in current Mozilla window and content is being loaded. 5. After the page is loaded, switch to it but all you see is plugin portal homepage instead of the plugin details. Fixed. Now there is a link on the details page to go directly to a plugin. Verified, but see issue 101285. |
