When I enable the "Execute Through OTA" option from Project->Properties->Running on a MIDP 2.x application project in Mobility Pack on NB 5.5 and NB 6.0, the Application Management Software (AMS) emulation does not work during execution. The emulator simply runs the MIDP application without bringing up the AMS. Hence, there is no way to emulate the life cycle management of the MIDP application from an AMS when running the application from NB 5.5/6.0 Mobility Pack. this is not a bug since it works as designed. The issue is that the emulator doesn't display/allow user to enter application URL (cool for demos) but rather installs and run application automatically (requested by developers). Note that the requested behavior may not be available on all emulators.
