Description pcmreddy 2007-04-16 22:02:29 UTC
NB 5.5 tools bundle + Mobility Pack + VWP
JDK 1.5.0_11

Problem : Mobility Pack and VWP does not detect NetBeans from EntPack Tools
Bundle install dir.

Looks like installer is changing original NetBeans registry settinngs and other
installer are not able to detect NetBeans install dir from registry.

If it is plain NetBeans 5.5 or NB 5.5 + entPack everything works fine.

Workaround: Click on Browse button and select NetBeans install folder.
Comment 2 Kirill Sorokin 2007-04-17 06:15:27 UTC
I'm transferring this to the new installer engine and marking as fixed. Please
verify once the JTB becomes available on the new engine.
Comment 3 pcmreddy 2007-04-17 06:17:15 UTC
What is JTB? and when it is available?
Comment 4 Kirill Sorokin 2007-04-17 06:31:19 UTC
I meant Java Tools Bundle. :) We expect it to become available by the end of
this week or early next week.

Please do not make changes that you don't understand.

Check any recent version of NetBeans, e.g 6.8. Ask on the forum in case of questions and file a new issue if any.
