It is not possible to rename Rails application when WEBrick server is running. To reproduce: - create new Ruby On Rails Application - call 'Rename Project' on project node - change name in Rename Project dialog - check 'Also Rename Project Folder' checkbox - click Rename Project is not renamed but exception is thrown Cannot delete file development.log in D:/Development/builds/nbUserdir-20070516145644/RailsApplication6/log. Build 20070515, WindowsXP, JDK1.6.0_02-ea.
Created attachment 42463 [details] Stack trace.
Reassigning this issue to newly created 'ruby' component.
Cannot reproduce anymore in build 200708060257.
Verified.
Previously I forgot to check 'Also Rename Project Folder' checkbox, so it is still reproducable.
Works fine with|without Also rename project folder. Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200809071401) Java: 1.6.0_10-beta; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b11 System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1250; cs_CZ (nb)
There is missing item in steps to reproduce. WEBrick server must be running - so it is still reproducible in current build. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create new RoR Application -> Run the project 2. Invoke pop-up menu on project node > Rename 3. Insert new project name, "Also Rename Project Folder" must be checked > Rename Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200809081401) Java: 1.6.0_10-beta; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b11 System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1250; cs_CZ (nb)
Will address this later (will reconsider if there'll be duplicates).
