The pluginportal update center catalog should be provided for released version of NetBeans IDE. For example for
on-coming release 6.0 there should be catalog containing only plugins that are compatible with this version (contains
target version 6.0). Catalogs must reflect (must be re-generated after) following changes:
-versions are changed
-the plugin .nbm file is updated
-the plugin is removed

Version specific catalogs are available since Plugin Portal 2.0: http://plugins.netbeans.org/nbpluginportal/updates/7.0/catalog.xml http://plugins.netbeans.org/nbpluginportal/updates/7.1/catalog.xml etc.
