It is very hard to tell if NetBeans is hung or if it is working away at detecting the server.

It also appears to be happening on the main UI thread, so NB hangs while you wait.

The current state is - this funcionality is missing and has to be implemented (will be in new project wizard).

Some basic functionality has been implemented - we will see whether it is enough or not.

No progress bar needed IMHO because we are searching for only few directories. This can change in the future of 
course.
