Under "Versioning" menu there are conflicting mnemonics 'S' for both "Status" and "Subversion". Although "Status" is first it does not get selected by Alt+I and "S". Moreover "Subversion" submenu expands and next "S" selects first item under "Subversion" submenu which is "Checkout". Further presses of 'S' do not do anything. Since it seems like a generic menu functioning problem I'm assigning to core/awt. Please reassign if necessary. Ubuntu 7.10; Gnome 2.20.1
Evaluation: It's a JDK/Swing bug which I filed: http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6674479 However, simple workaround on our side would be in Mercurial module to fix mnemonics so that there are no conflicts and bug will be gone. Passing to mercurial guys.
Mercurial Versioning Menu has been redesigned and all mnemonics updated so there are no conflicts and Alt-i S brings up Subversion.
thanks.
