This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
When working in XML files and either hitting Alt+Shift+F or right-clicking and selecting "Format" from the popup window, the cursor is placed at the bottom of the file (no matter where your cursor started). Example: I'm working in the middle of an XML file and I want to do a quick format of the xml file. I do a ALT+Shift+F and then I lose my spot because the cursor is forced to the bottom of the file. Expected results: After hitting ALT+Shift+F in a XML file, the cursor is returned to the position were it originated. Other notes: This worked as expected in NetBeans 6.0.1 (this is a new bug to 6.1)
Will try to fix it and if i-team agrees, will try to get this into patch1.
