this doesn't appear on [nb_dev](20010717)

After move mouse above Welcome Panel (painting buttons in part "To get
started...") you obtain number of javax.swing.text.StateInvariantError

Marian, please report this against jdk and add here the reference. It
is bug in javax.swing.text (or it maybe it is already reported, I saw
this bug sometimes in the past), our code is only RepaintManager, but
I think it isn't responsible for the error (according to stacktrace),
anyway assigning to Dafe to give his 2cents.
