6.5 Beta installer - ran installer on Ubuntu 8.04 on 1920x1200 display - installer fonts were bigger then expected, on the final screen with question about anonymous statistics was the window size too small to display all the content. See screenshot

Could you please also attach the "Welcome" and "GlassFish" panels of the installer? Thanks.
Tomas, If you could attach also screenshot of working NetBeans IDE in such configuration then it would be fine as well. Thanks, Dmitry
well, it was only J2se installer... attaching all panels of installer + screenshot of IDE, hope that helps.

thanks!
I was able to achieve the same result by setting screen resolution to 120 DPI. But in that case NetBeans also has big fonts and does not look like at your screenshot. What DPI do you have? DPI can be checked/set using System->Preferences->Appearance->Fonts->Details(button) Could you please make the screenshot of the Fonts settings panel (System->Preferences->Appearance->Fonts)?
could you please also attach the latest installation log from ~/.nbi/log? does it occur with metal L&F? ./netbeans-6.5beta-linux.sh --look-and-feel javax.swing.plaf.metal.MetalLookAndFeel
1) well, i KDE as a desktop manager and I could not found explicit DPI of font - the only option is to use default or force DPI: 96DPI or 120DPI or default (default is set in my case). 2) attaching logs from installer 3) when running installer with Metal LnF,everything looks fine.

would be nice to be fixed in 6.5...if fixable..
if I found a way, at least, to reproduce it... :) Does it occur on any other JDK? netbeans-6.5beta-linux.sh --javahome /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk netbeans-6.5beta-linux.sh --javahome /space/jdk1.6.0_04 netbeans-6.5beta-linux.sh --javahome /space/jdk1.5.0_15
