Description Jaromir Uhrik 2008-12-05 21:54:49 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 081204)
Java: 1.5.0_16; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_16-133
System: Mac OS X version 10.5.5 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb)

When creating Maven project the following archetypes are missing in ergonomics ide (2nd step of New Project wizard):
-Maven NetBeans Module Archetype
-Maven NetBeans Platform Application Archetype
These are normally available in trunk builds.

The artifacts are very probably missing due to not enabled apisupport cluster. This is unfortunate, but not absolutely
horrible. NetBeans modules are developed only by small fraction of our users and it is pleasant to know that all other
architypes are present. If Java or Web ones were missing, that would be critical.

-> P2 at least (http://wiki.netbeans.org/BugPriorityGuidelines)

Comment 5 Jaromir Uhrik 2008-12-18 06:04:56 UTC
Missing archetypes are there but when I create it then the created project has problems with missing Maven APIsupport
module - see attached screenshot. Once the archetype is created then it again disappears from the list. The behavior is
the same for both 'Maven NetBeans Module Archetype' and also 'Maven NetBeans Platform Application Archetype'. Sorry, I
am reopening this issue.

Forgot to mention that I have installed following full ide distribution from installer:
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200812150750)
Java: 1.5.0_16; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_16-133
System: Mac OS X version 10.5.6 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb)
Comment 8 Jaromir Uhrik 2008-12-18 10:40:21 UTC
Sorry, this needs to be checked in some later build because the fix is not integrated in this build from 20081215.
Changing the status back tor resolved.
Comment 9 Jaromir Uhrik 2008-12-18 10:43:56 UTC
BTW: it works fine in some newer build provided by pflaska offline. But the verification needs to be done on some
official build (rather both .zip and installer too).
Comment 10 Quality Engineering 2008-12-22 15:20:42 UTC
Integrated into 'main-golden', will be available in build *200812221122* on http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/ (upload may still be in progress)

Verified. The UI is now different and such an issue is not in build like:
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200908110201)
Java: 1.5.0_19; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_19-137
System: Mac OS X version 10.5.8 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb)
