can you save the size and position of the help window? 
please also save if the window was previously maximized, 
and the position of the divider between the help index and 
the actual help contents.

You're as likely to work on these as I am not, I guess. I have no time for
core/javahelp development. Maybe you will at some point.

This issue has been brought up again, and I tend to agree that it should be
fixed. Jano, any opinions?

I am afraid there is no API to retrieve info from Java Help components like
position of divider.

Yes, the position of help window, maximized state and divider position should be persisted.

Seems all is working properly:
1. size and position of the help window are saved/restored, including a case when the help window is maximized.
2. position of the divider is saved/restored too.
