The notion of "customizer" is used very
inconsistently throughout the IDE.  All uses are
also redundant with other means of editing
information in the IDE.
The HIE organization believes that "customizer" is
therefore an unnecessary concept in the IDE, and
our users would benefit if we got rid of this
unnecessary idea.

(this issue is meant as an "umbrella" issue which
others will refer to).

A lot "customizers" have already been fixed, so if you find some, please report it as new issue
