It would be good if BPEL's breakpoints look different from java's ones. It especially affects the breakpoints debug window. Now breakpoints look similar and that can mislead the user.
See issue 34242 for the recent Java Breakpoints changes
Jirka, what do you think?
Alexander, I thought we have two separate windows for breakpoints - one for Java debugger and another one for BPEL debugger. Now I can see all breakpoints in a single window. Can you shed some light on this for me? Thanks!
Well, as you said all the breakpoints (i.e. either Java and BPEL) are in the Breakpoints Window. We have never had BPEL breakpoints in a separate window. Perhaps you are confusing it with the Local Variables Window, for which we had to make a "copy" - the BPEL Variables Window - to be able to open custom editor for variables' XML values (I hope we will eliminate the BPEL Variables Window in Hula and will reuse the Local Variables Window, as NB6 will support columns overriding). BTW, you may have some ideas about icons (and not just icons) for other Debugger Windows - Watches, BPEL Variables, BPEL Process Instances. We are reusing icons from the Java Debugger, but I believe we could create more appropriate icons.
-> Sierra
Leon, could you please comment on this one? My vision is that the breakpoints UI/graphics should be consistent over file types, so that they can be easily recognized by the user. I'm really tempted to close this as INVALID.
Changed target milestone from Sierra to 6.1 in order to display correct info on NB 6.1 dashboard
Moved to future again.
