Yes, I can reproduce it on Linux on JDK1.4beta3 (The problem cannot be reproduced on Windows 2000) But it seems it is JDK bug, because I have reproduced this bug also in other java text editor. In your sampleDir/examples, there is texteditor application. If you run it using external execution and open some large file (i.e. java.awt.Component) the same problem occurs. Honza, haven't you already seen any similar bug in bugParade? It certainly seems to be JDK bug. I did not find similiar bug in bugparade, so I created new one. It will be soon here: http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4531152.html Resolved for 3.3.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
