Description tveimo 2001-11-23 11:01:04 UTC
At about line 1350, the editor window starts to get very weird. See attached
screenshot.

I'm not shure if this happens exactly at a specific line or is dependent on how
much text is in the buffer, but it is quite reproducable on my machine (xfree
4.1.0, ATI r128 in 24bit depth truecolor).

It is probably a jdk1.4beta3 problem, but it cannot trigger it with any other
applications, eg jedit. It happens for both the xml editor and java editor.

Yes, I can reproduce it on Linux on JDK1.4beta3
(The problem cannot be reproduced on Windows 2000)

But it seems it is JDK bug, because I have reproduced this bug also in
other java text editor.
In your sampleDir/examples, there is texteditor application. If you
run it using external execution and open some large file
(i.e. java.awt.Component) the same problem occurs.

Honza, haven't you already seen any similar bug in bugParade?

It certainly seems to be JDK bug.
I did not find similiar bug in bugparade, so I created new one. It
will be soon here:
