When using netbeans on a project with native (JNI) components. If the "Java Platform" is set to anything but the default, one gets a: "Can't find dependent libraries" error message when the native dll is loaded. To reproduce, create a simple jni program. The jni library should be stored in some arbitrary location, which is specifed by by adding -Djava.library.path on the VM options. If the default Java Platform is used, everything works as expected. However, if a non-default VM is used, the library won't load. To workaround this problem, one can change the default Java Environment by editing the netbeans.conf file.
