Tools|Options|JavaCode|Mark Occurences requires reopening of file to take effect. Steps to reproduce: ------------------- 1) Open/create a j2se project 2) Open a java file from it 3) Invoke Tools|Options|JavaCode|Mark Occurences and turn whole section off 4) Confirm OD => Mark Occurences still active --- NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200704161800) 1.6.0_01; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_01-b04 SunOS version 5.10 running on sparc en (nb); ISO646-US
Oops. Should be much better now. It is however necessary to move the caret before the changes are noticed -> P4/future. Checking in MarkOccurencesHighlighter.java; /cvs/java/editor/src/org/netbeans/modules/java/editor/semantic/MarkOccurencesHighlighter.java,v <-- MarkOccurencesHighlighter.java new revision: 1.7; previous revision: 1.6 done

Moving caret has no effect. The highlighted areas are always in the state as they were when the mark occurrences was disabled
Well, back to the drawing board...
Moving cursor now helps -> P4
moving opened issues from TM <= 6.1 to TM=Dev
