I notice that the latest build of NB6.0 does point to SOA update center.

I downloaded and installed NB6.0 from
http://bits.nbextras.org/netbeans/6.0/nightly/200704210000/. In the settings
panel, 'NetBeans SOA pack update center' entry is shown and is selected. Now
(after setting the proxy), when i switch to 'New Plugins' tab and click 'Refresh
List', the ide connects to the ucs and displays the encoder modules.

There is one slight problem though: I see 5 modules listed under 'Encoder'
category and 4 modules listed under 'Unsorted' category. It looks like the 4
unsorted modules (which i think are the library modules for the 5 feature
modules) do not specifiy module category correctly. Also, there probably needs
to be a discussion on the categories used:
1: Perhaps feature modules should be under 'SOA' category and library modules
under 'SOA Libraries' category. This will list all SOA plugins in one place.
2. Or encoder feature modules should be under 'SOA Encoders' category and
library modules under 'SOA Encoders Libraries' category. This will inform the
user that the plugins for SOA pack. (We can go with (2) instead of (1), if we
think there may be a lot of SOA plugins and it is better not to list all of them
under one category).

This issue doesn't seem to be relevant anymore. The Plugin Manager has changed a lot since this issue was filed. The"SOA
update center" was replaced by "Standard Features Update Center"; in NB6 beta, i notice even that has gone and there is
only 'NetBeans' update center in the client. Also, from Milestone 10, not all nbms for a plugin are listed in the
client. For 'SOA' category only 'SOA' , 'BPEL' and 'Composite Application" modules are listed.

Closing this issue as invalid.
