My glassfish installation got hosed, so I reinstalled glassfish. When I deployed my application, which had been deployed to the original version of glassfish, to this new version of glassfish, the application failed when it tried to obtain the JDBC connection because the data source for my rowset had not been created in the server.
Please give more info for John to evaluate. Server log, exceptions, project, ...
for each project, server specific settings should be created regardless whether the server has the JDBC resources. The API has been developed but I think the feature needs to be developed by the plugin. This is another case where I was tracking one issue which turns out to be the API, but I didn't track the serverplugin implmentation. A new issue will be filed for this implementation.
