Windows XP Pro, non Administrator user - Power Users member, build 200606180000 I downloaded Basic installer and when I started installation as Power User, installer stops with attached message. When I launch this as Administrator installation proceeds well. The message is confusing to user. I would expect that installer informs user she needs to be admin.

Martin, Does directory "C:\Program Files\NetBeans 6.0 M9" really exists? Thanks, Dmitry
Most probably it doesn`t. And most probably the NetBeans 6.0 M9 was installed under Power User. Now installer can`t find its installation - and informs user about that. What it the issue then? To clarify the situation: NBI knows only about installations that were performed under the same user and knows nothing about installations under other users. Shared user support is already mentioned in the Issue 88053. I am going to close the issue as INVALID in some time. Any objections/questions are welcome.
"C:\Program Files\NetBeans 6.0 M9" does not exist.
I did the same steps with 0619000 Basic build, power user. It fails again. Another dialog shows telling me it cannot init registry. Attached with log file as well.

Martin, in that case it is the same as the issue 106460. Thanks a lot for you help, Dmitry
Dima, shouldn't this be closed as DUPLICATE then?
Kirill, agree with you. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 88053 ***
