Go to tools > options > fonts & colors.  Change the comment color to something else.  comments in the .rb file don't
change color; they're still a hard-to-read shade of grey against a white background no matter what I change the option to.

Problem partially solved - if you close and open the file, the color has changed.

This should be handled by the options code (triggering repaints in open files); nothing language specific here
