After New File, the new file is selected in the Projects window, but not in the Files window. Found in build 200707111200.
I don't understand what do you mean. Could you describe what you did and what is your expected output, please?
Steps to reproduce: 1. Select "New File..." from the "File" menu, or from a context menu, or press Ctrl+N etc. 2. Select some file type, for example "Java"->"Java class", press "Next", enter a class name and location and press "Finish". Result: The specified file is created, the treeview in the "Projects" window is expanded if necessary to show the newly created file, and it becomes selected (highlighted & has keyboard focus). (This happens regardless of whether the "Project" window has focus or not.) Expected behavior: In addition to the above, have the treeview in the "Files" window behave like for "Projects", that is expand it to show the newly created file if necessary, and make it the selected file. (Regardless of whether the "Files" window has focus or not.)
Oh I see now. Reassigning to core for evaluation
Files tab is in projects/ui
Well, it's rather RFE IMO.
Changing to enhancement.
