Description jamespb 2007-09-04 01:13:43 UTC
Open xterm in cygwin. Copy some text. Paste into an editor window - nothing happens.

Open notepad (standard windows utility), paste. Text from cygwin appears just fine.

Can you try with java notepad? Eg. run: java -jar /opt/jdk1.5.0_12/demo/jfc/Notepad/Notepad.jar
Thanks

Works fine with Java Notepad (C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_01\demo\jfc>java -jar Notepad\Notepad.jar), no problems
pasting, but still couldn't paste in NetBeans:

moving opened issues from TM <= 6.1 to TM=Dev
Comment 4 pribyl 2008-04-25 13:35:55 UTC
Any progress with this one? Does it persist in 6.1?

Thanks
Comment 5 Vitezslav Stejskal 2008-04-28 14:15:35 UTC
No, we will have to reproduce it on the same configuration (Vista + Cygwin) and see what clipboard data we are getting
in Netbeans. Hopefully that would show what the problem is.

Resolving all issues with milestone "future" as LATER. If you feel strongly that
it should be implemented please reopen and set the target milestone to "next".
