Description Jane Sokolow 2001-04-20 22:43:35 UTC
In the Tools > Options dialog box, there are 3 choices for Web Browsers: ICE
Browser, External Browser (Command Line), and External Browser (Windows). For
the Ext. Browser (Windows), you can set the properties "DDE Server" and
"Executable browser."

1. What does "DDE Server" mean?
The choices given are default system browser, IExplorer, or Netscape,

default means that it will try to find which browser is default one on user's
system (either NN or IE). IEXPLORE and NETSCAPE are names that represent DDE
server that we are able to communicate with.

Executable is command that will be executed if we can't establish communication
(it means that browser is not started in most of cases). If it is not set then
module tries to find this command from Windows registry.
