For example, I have set "Unused imports" hint to show on the current
line only (AFAIK, this means it should show the hint only when the
cursor is on the import line, otherwise it should only underline the
problem, but show no light bulb and nothing in the editor stripe on
the right), but it shows those problems globally (always light bulb,
always in the editor stripe).

This problem is not fixed by closing/reopening the source or even
restarting NB.

The example is working OK in Beta 1.

Does not work for me either in Beta 1 or in current trunk. But, IMO, this is not a very strong usecase...

I can reproduce this error on the currently released Netbeans 6.1 on both Windows (2000, XP and Vista) as well as on
Linux (the new Ubuntu 8.04LTS as well as the previous 6.06LTS). So I think its safe to assume that this bug is
reproduceable on all platforms.

Resolving all issues with milestone "future" as LATER. If you feel strongly that
it should be implemented please reopen and set the target milestone to "next".
