Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200710151100) Java: 1.6.0_03; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_03-b05 System: Linux version 2.6.20-16-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb) Problem: Undo and Redo are disabled in the edit menu of design view and shortcut keys do not work only for elements. Steps: 1. Create a new schema 2. Switch to Design View and drag and drop an element 3. press return to deselect from editing the name 4. Double click and rename the element then press return 5. Undo and redo are disabled in the edit menu and ctrl+Z does not work. You can add a complex type and the functionality works but if there are no complex types then the functionality goes away.
There seems to be a lot of overlap in refactoring and undo/redo, like when is NB undo/redo enabled and when is refactoring enabled and when are both. This functional area is vague.
The refactoring undo/redo are currently not linked with Edit menu undo/redo options. To undo refactoring options, please use Refactor -> Undo There is an RFE filed for this.
