When I change the settings for hints in options, currently open
source files are not reevaluated. I have to close and reopen the
source. This is annoying.

We are talking java hints here, right?

For me, a change in selected tab (or file modification) is enough. Sorry, but I do not think there will be time for this
for NB6.0.

Resolving all issues with milestone "future" as LATER. If you feel strongly that
it should be implemented please reopen and set the target milestone to "next".
