Description jiai 2007-10-28 12:22:47 UTC
We had the issue with unusable browse dialogs before, in most cases the problem seems to be fixed. Regardless, "Browse
existing Ant project folder" from the "New Web application with exisiting Ant script" wizard has still the problem!

Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200710261200)
Java: 1.6.0_03; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_03-b05
System: Windows 2000 version 5.0 running on x86; Cp1252; de_DE (nb)

Reassigning to "web" for evaluation...

What exactly do you mean by unusable? I'm new here and your description of the problem does not tell me anything.
Thanks, David

Due to a JDK/JRE bug, the standard filesystem browser is under certain circumstances (zip files on the desktop / Windows
XP) extremely slow. It is now partly solved for most dialogs. But for the described dialog, the problem doesn't seemed
to be solved.

I see. You mean issue 109703. That should fix the problem for all file choosers in NetBeans. Are you saying that "Browse
existing Ant project folder" is slower than other file choosers? That's possible - depends on default folder filechooser
is open with.
