As rails and ruby is a very class / model centric development language I have always been suprised by the lack of a way to visualise the table / model relationships. As netbeans has a UML tool for java, I was wondering if it is possible to replicate this for the ruby / rails plugins to use. The user would be able to visualise as uml the rails classes, and if viewing the rails models and the relationships between models, .e.g belond_to, has_many would be able to be viewed as well. In the longer term, code generation and being able to add properties / methods in the UML diagram would be nice.
That would be nice. But honestly, probably not soon :) But thanks for ideas.
