Description jcatchpoole 2007-12-05 12:32:00 UTC
For the old module catalogue, I had a script which emailed module owners every month all registered details of their
modules, and asked them to notify us if updates were required. This was partly necessary as the old module catalogue
did not allow owners to maintain their own data :-/ However I have had feedback that this would be appreciated in the
new PP also.

It might be useful, as I can imagine module authors forgetting that they've put a module up, or that they didn't update
their listing(s) with the latest info/release. With a periodic reminder it might help keep the content of the PP fresh
and up to date.

Just a suggestion, I am not exactly sure if this makes sense now.
