When creating a new WSDL, if you have not already imported the XSDs you wish to use, you would normally have to end the wizard. As found during our CEW4 workshop, for many developers the natural step was to create a new WSDL first and attempt to import the required XSDs in the context of doing so. This option is not available. Consider enhancing the New WSDL wizard to import external XSDs as a shortcut to the New External XSD wizard so that they do not need to close the WSDL import wizard first.
As documented at issue 124649 , this request seems to have been implemented. Should this bug be marked fixed?
No, this is a different requirement. Please re-read carefully. If the XSDs required have not yet been imported into the project, the WSDL wizard needs to be cancelled and the Import->External XSD wizard has to be run first. This enhancement request is regarding the ability to invoke that wizard directly from the WSDL Wizard without having to back out of it. This gives a more top down approach to pulling in the required artefacts.
