This error occurred trying to create a Web service reference in JavaFX Script application. JDK 6 U4 is used.

This was important information.
Problem is in JavaFX module.
Though the web services wizards are enabled there JavaFx Project doesn't implement the Web Services Client SPI.

Please, disable web services wizard from JavaFx project.

The exception no longer happens in NB 6.5 - proper dialog is displayed that the project does not support WS client
generation.
