Description Jun Qian 2008-02-21 00:36:46 UTC
From Prashant:

When I click on "Edit Application Configuration" menu, it open up the CASA editor. The configuration by default is
marked with an asterisk, indicating that the file has changed. What I really wanted to do was to simply view the
configuration and not edit it, so the unsaved state is un-necessary. Can you change the behavior such that it opens up
in saved state?

From Jun:

The casa file that gets generated by compapp build process doesn't contain any positioning info. When it's opened
for the first time, the CASA Editor's auto layout algorithm assigns valid positions to individual widgets, therefore
making the file "dirty".

From Chikkala:

I do agree that we should not show the auto layout modifications as a file change to the users unless user manually
modifies ( by clicking on the auto layout button or editing the artifacts ) layout settings. We can either generate
default layout settings during the build process or use the autolayout but not show that initial layout modifications as
file changes.
