Well, I read you very very short :) description and I think that it looks like a very very short beginning of feature
request. Please add more comments, more info about your problem and ideas.

Generated code in the GUI Builder is very wordy. It uses fully qualified class names. Can it use imports instead?

this requirement has been already set. See issue 7781 and vote for it.
